FAQ
Straight answers
$38 Brazilians. Hard wax. Three studios. No membership pitch in the answers either.
- How much is a Brazilian wax?
- $38. Every visit, every studio — Colorado Springs, Waxhaw, and Fort Mill. No membership, no intro price that jumps next time.
- Does a Brazilian wax hurt?
- A quick sting. Most first-timers say it was less than they’d built up. Hard wax grabs hair, not skin, which is why we don’t use cheap soft wax. It gets easier every time.
- How long should hair be before a wax?
- About a quarter inch — a grain of rice. If you can pinch it, we can wax it. Too short and the wax can’t grab.
- How long does a Brazilian last?
- Usually 4–6 weeks. Book the next chair before you leave if you want the same specialist.
- Do you wax men?
- Yes. MANzilian is $48. Chest, back, brows, and the rest of the menu too. Same hard wax, same licensed specialists, same no-nonsense rooms.
- Do I need a membership?
- No. Chains sell memberships because the walk-in price is padded. Ours isn’t.
- Hard wax or soft wax?
- Hard wax only. It sets on the hair and lifts off. Soft wax sticks to skin — that’s the cheap, extra-painful version we don’t use.
- Which studio should I book?
- The one you can actually get to. Colorado Springs on Tejon, Waxhaw on South Main, Fort Mill at Stone Village. Same prices. Pick the city in booking so you don’t land on the wrong calendar.
- What’s the cancellation policy?
- Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead. Inside 24 hours, or a no-show, the card on file is charged for the service. Be in the chair within 7 minutes of your time.
- What should I do before my first wax?
- Grow hair to about ¼ inch. Skip caffeine if you can. No lotion, oils, or self-tanner that day. Wear something loose. Tell us about Accutane, retinoids, or irritated skin when you book.
