House rules

Policies, said plainly

The Square page shouts this in all caps before you can book. Here’s the same information, without the panic.

Cancels, no-shows, and the 7-minute wait

You’re reminded two days before. Confirm, reschedule, or cancel then — the system locks changes inside 24 hours.

Booking takes a card on file. We don’t charge it when you book. Cancel or no-show inside 24 hours and Square bills the full service. The specialist showed up for you.

Be in the chair within 7 minutes of your start time. After that you’re a no-show. Please don’t arrive late and then use the restroom — the clock already started.

Same-day time changes (earlier or later that day) are not charged. Moving to another day is treated as a cancel.

If you’re sick

Flu, a cold, COVID — reschedule as soon as you know. Don’t wait until the morning of. A day-of cancel is still charged, even for illness, because the chair was held.

Periods and pregnancy

Pregnant clients can wax at every stage. If you’re on your period, wear a tampon or cup — nobody here is fazed, though you may be more sensitive. Cancelling because of a period is still a day-of cancel.

Accutane and skin

Accutane now, or in the last six months — we cannot wax. Retinoids on the area, a recent peel or laser, sunburn, open skin, or a flare on the area: tell us when you book. More first-visit notes.

Male clients

We wax men. Hands stay at your side. Conversation stays light. If someone makes a specialist uncomfortable, the service stops and you won’t be rebooked.
